Upper Merion Township is proud to announce new changes and improvements in their community bus service - The Rambler! The two bus routes (The "Blue" and The "Green") will operate from 9:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. Monday through Saturday. These two routes will each run East to West and back again.
The purpose of The Rambler is to provide public transportation for residents to area shopping centers, malls, medical facilities, the Senior Center, and the Upper Merion Township building. Each bus is wheel chair accessible and our drivers are certified to operate the lift mechanism.
The base fare for a one way trip is $2.00. However, you can purchase a 10 trip ticket for $10.00 (a 50% reduction)! Students between the ages of 10-16 ride for .50 cents and children under the age of 6 ride free when accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. Tickets may be purchased on the bus, or at the GVF Transportation Office located on the first floor underneath the Library at the Upper Merion Township building.
